Pavement Maintenance Group (PMG) is the nation's largest SealMaster/GemSeal franchisee and a recognized leader in pavement-preservation products. We manufacture and distribute sealers, coatings, tools, and application equipment that help contractors, municipalities, and property owners protect roads, parking lots, and airports. We are hiring a hands-on Territory Sales Manager to grow customer relationships and expand our presence across the Tampa region.

About the Role

This is an individual-contributor role for someone ready to own and grow a territory. You will spend most of your time on-site and in the field: visiting contractors and jobsites, opening new accounts, strengthening existing relationships, and helping customers select and use the right products and equipment. You will conduct demonstrations, support trade shows, prepare quotes, maintain sales reports, and enter orders in our ERP system.

Customer & Technical Support

The work is practical and customer-focused. Customers may need help troubleshooting materials or equipment such as seal coaters, crack sealers, or line stripers. You do not need to arrive as a pavement expert, but you should be curious, mechanically comfortable, willing to get your hands dirty, and accountable for following an issue through to resolution. Familiarity with government bids or specifications such as DOT, ASTM, or AASHTO is helpful but not required.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for a developing field seller with approximately three to five years of progressive outside-sales experience. Strong candidates may come from pavement, construction, contractor supply, coatings, equipment, rentals, industrial products, or service sales. You should be comfortable prospecting by phone and in person, navigating jobsite and contractor environments, finding decision-makers, and working independently without losing communication or follow-through. This role is designed for someone with proven sales fundamentals and room to grow, rather than a senior sales leader or people manager.

Schedule & Travel

The position is primarily on-site and requires regular regional travel. Standard hours are 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday work based on customer and business needs. A valid driver's license is required, along with comfort trailering or operating equipment when trained and needed.

Compensation & Benefits

PMG offers a base salary of $75,000 to $100,000 with no commission component, plus a company vehicle, cell phone, and full benefits.
