In this remote position, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals while enjoying the flexibility of working from home. Our office team will support you in maintaining a productive workflow through weekly virtual meetings and team-building activities. Despite the remote aspect of the role, we emphasize structured communication and collaboration to maintain a connected and engaged work environment. You will have access to the outpatient office facilities as needed for client meetings or team engagements.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of clients’ mood disorder symptoms, creating comprehensive treatment plans tailored to their individual needs and goals.

• Implement evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate effective treatment outcomes.

• Monitor and document client progress regularly, ensuring treatment plans are adapted based on ongoing evaluations and feedback.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and coping strategies to empower them in their therapeutic journey.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and holistic approaches to care.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and continuous professional development to enhance therapeutic techniques and improve client care.

• Maintain accurate, confidential, and organized documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Advocate for clients’ mental health needs, focusing on reducing stigma and promoting awareness of available resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals affected by mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. You will engage with a diverse client population, including vulnerable groups such as homeless individuals, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence, providing crucial support and guidance to help them navigate their challenges and achieve stability.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
