About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Hydroelectric Sales to lead commercial activities in the United States. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, market expansion, and strategic customer engagement within the hydroelectric sector. This role involves developing and executing regional business plans, strengthening customer relationships, and identifying new revenue streams. The Head of Hydroelectric Sales will also be tasked with building a results-oriented sales organization, leading contract negotiations, and ensuring the team meets financial goals. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field, with an advanced degree preferred, and at least 10 years of progressive commercial experience in industrial equipment, energy, infrastructure, or engineered solutions markets. The role requires a proven track record in growing revenue and profitability, strong business development and strategic account management skills, and experience in leading geographically dispersed sales teams. The ideal candidate will have a background in power generation, renewable energy, utilities, or heavy industrial sectors, and be adept at negotiating complex commercial agreements. Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills are essential, as is the ability to manage sales forecasting, pipeline development, and performance reporting.
