Position Specifics: Department: Cardiology Core Function: Imaging Schedule: Full time, 36 -40 hrs/wk - Flexible scheduling options Facility: St. Elizabeth's Hospital Location: O'Fallon, IL Sign On: $20,000 Compensation that aligns with your experience \* Varying levels of pay scale based on experience **Education Qualifications*** Associates degree in allied health, applied science or completion of certificate program is required.* Bachelor’s degree in allied health or applied sciences is preferred.* High school diploma/GED AND 5 years working as a sonographer may be considered in lieu of associates degree.**Experience Qualifications*** 2 years of cardiac sonography/ultrasound experience is required.* 7 years of sonography/ultrasound experience (with 2 years in cardiac sonography/ultrasound) is required if meeting the education equivalency.**Certifications, Licenses and Registrations*** Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from the American Registry of Diagnostic Sonographers (ARDMS) OR a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) is required.* Specialty certification in adult echocardiography or pediatric echocardiography preferred.* Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.Scheduled Weekly Hours:40Throughout communities in Illinois and Wisconsin, 13 hospitals, numerous community-based health centers and clinics, our 13,000+ colleagues have built a culture based on our solid core values of respect, care, competence, and joy.
