Key Responsibilities Manage a caseload of clients by establishing rapport and maintaining positive therapeutic relationships while adhering to professional ethics and boundaries. Conduct regular meetings with clients to assess their progress, stability, and readiness for discharge as appropriate. Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized, person-centered treatment plans in collaboration with your clients. Maintain comprehensive documentation and secure progress notes for each client, ensuring compliance with legal standards and best practices. Conduct intake assessments to determine client needs and fit for services. Facilitate individual therapy sessions consistently on a weekly basis. Engage in individual supervision to enhance clinical skills and reflect on practices. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other healthcare providers, to ensure well-rounded care for clients. Maintain a growth mindset by embracing ongoing learning and adapting to new challenges in the mental health field. Patient Population / Client Focus As an LPC at Ideal Life, you will primarily work with a diverse outpatient population that includes adults, children, and families facing varying mental health challenges. Your role will significantly influence their journeys toward mental wellness by providing tailored therapeutic support, enhancing their overall quality of life. Qualifications A master's degree in mental health counseling or a closely related field. Possession of a current, unrestricted, and active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license. A minimum of three years of clinical experience in an outpatient setting, demonstrating proficiency in therapy techniques. Familiarity with and comfort in utilizing various computer systems and tools, such as Excel, RMS systems, Outlook, and Pimsy, for documentation and case management. Strong experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families. Confidence in conducting intake assessments and developing treatment plans. Preferred Experience A minimum of one year of hands-on experience in outpatient mental health care. Experience with electronic health record systems that facilitate documentation and case management. Specialization in specific therapy modalities relevant to diverse client needs.
