Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to develop individualized treatment plans, including pre-crisis and crisis intervention strategies.

• Document clinical encounters and treatment plans in accordance with regulatory standards and complete all required paperwork in a timely manner.

• Utilize evidence-based screening tools to support clinical decision-making and improve client outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to devise and implement positive behavior support plans tailored to client needs.
\n
• Engage in licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations.

• Facilitate communication between clients, service systems, and local agencies to coordinate care effectively.

• Serve as a resource to community partners and stakeholders, promoting agency programs and identifying potential collaborations.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through participation in workshops, conferences, and local meetings to enhance expertise.

• Embody and promote the agency’s mission, values, and principles in all interactions.

• Perform additional responsibilities as directed by the Clinic Director, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients consist of a diverse population with varying mental health challenges, including those facing substance use disorders, emotional distress, and individuals living with developmental disabilities or brain injuries. As a counselor, you will embody a client-centered approach, providing personalized care that emphasizes respect and understanding of the unique experiences of each individual.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in a behavioral health field is mandatory for this role.

• Must hold an Independent LMHC license issued by the state licensing board.

Compensation and Benefits\n
