This position focuses on providing specialized instruction in English Language Arts and Math for a resource/inclusion setting in a highly supportive educational environment. Your days will be structured within school hours from 8:05 AM to 3:05 PM, with a brief duty period before or after. At 36.25 hours per week, you’ll make a meaningful impact through delivering targeted interventions, monitoring student progress, and guiding academic growth for a diverse caseload.

Key Qualifications:

• Current Michigan Special Education endorsement
• Credentials in ELA/Math for middle grades
• In-depth knowledge of IDEA, MARSE, IEP processes, and compliance
• Skilled in developing and implementing IEPs, evaluating student needs, creating behavior plans, and managing accommodations
• Experience working with middle school students in resource or inclusion settings

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction in ELA and Math tailored to individual student needs
• Conduct interventions and regularly monitor student progress using data-driven strategies
• Maintain accurate and compliant IEPs, including all required documentation and progress reporting
• Collaborate effectively with general educators, support staff, and families
• Manage a caseload in alignment with district standards and student needs
