Qualifications:

• Active Michigan Teaching Certificate with SM, SE, SA, or SV endorsement (required)
• Teacher Consultant Approval OR 3+ years of successful SPED teaching experience in Michigan (required)
• Strong grasp of IDEA, MARSE, and the IEP process
• Expertise in supporting IEPs, 504s, METs, assessments, and progress monitoring

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide and consult teachers, administration, families, and related service professionals
• Support IEP/504 planning and compliance, evaluations, and MTSS interventions
• Provide behavioral and academic interventions for students
• Ensure strict adherence to special education state and federal regulations
