Two full-time positions are now available for dedicated professionals seeking a rewarding contract role near New Britain, CT. Work onsite in a supportive school setting, collaborating closely with educators, students, and families.
Immediate openings mean you can start as soon as possible—one position is available through May 2027 (with potential extension), and the other, a brand-new opportunity, runs through March 30, 2027. Enjoy a consistent Monday through Friday schedule with 35 hours per week and immerse yourself in comprehensive, school-based practice.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Connecticut School Psychologist license and certification required
- Previous school-based experience necessary
- Expertise in evaluation administration and PPT (Planning and Placement Team) reporting
- Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration with diverse teams
- Commitment to professional growth and student advocacy
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough psychoeducational assessments using a variety of tools and methods
- Prepare clear and concise reports for PPT meetings and support IEP development
- Work as an integral member of multidisciplinary teams to address student learning and behavioral needs
- Consult with teachers, staff, and parents/caregivers to inform intervention strategies
- Deliver direct and indirect support to students in need of academic, emotional, or behavioral intervention
- Participate in ongoing professional development
