Job Description

Step into an essential school-based role and make a significant impact supporting students near Hartford, CT. We are seeking dedicated professionals for two onsite openings, both in dynamic environments where your expertise as a school psychologist is valued daily. Both full-time contract opportunities offer 35 hours per week, with positions available at a high school and a middle school setting—each providing a chance to engage with diverse learners.

Qualifications & Experience:

Active, valid licensure and certification as a school psychologist in the state of Connecticut
Prior experience working in school settings, ideally with both evaluation and reporting responsibilities
Strong understanding of PPT (Planning and Placement Team) reporting and assessment protocols
Exceptional interpersonal and collaborative skills
Comfortable working onsite and engaging directly with students, staff, and families
Ready to interview via Zoom

Key Responsibilities:

Administer comprehensive evaluations and assessments according to state and district needs
Participate actively in Planning and Placement Team (PPT) meetings to develop, implement, and document students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to foster supportive learning environments
Prepare and present timely, professional PPT reports to guide educational planning
Engage in problem-solving, behavior intervention, and counseling as needed within the school community

Both roles are set to begin as soon as possible. The high school role runs through May 2027 with potential to continue, while the middle school opportunity, a new position, extends through March 2027.
