Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to understand clients’ mental health needs and tailor appropriate treatment plans.

• Provide individual counseling sessions and crisis interventions to assist clients experiencing various emotional and psychological challenges.

• Organize and lead therapy groups focusing on relevant mental health topics to foster community engagement and personal development.
\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams within the hospital framework, working alongside medical professionals and support staff to ensure holistic care for clients.

• Participate in outreach programs aimed at increasing mental health awareness and preventive care initiatives within the community.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records in accordance with ethical standards and legal requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Vita Wellness, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals from various backgrounds and with differing mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Your role will significantly impact their journey toward recovery and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of an active state license as an LPCC, LMFT, LCSW, or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field.

• Strong understanding of the unique mental health challenges faced by patients, particularly in outpatient and hospital settings.

• Exceptional communication skills, enabling you to effectively engage with clients and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.

• Knowledge of evidence-based practices and therapeutic models relevant to an outpatient counseling environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary in the range of USD 115,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
