Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct compassionate and ethical mental health counseling sessions using video conferencing tools, ensuring privacy and comfort for clients.

• Implement solution-focused treatment modalities tailored to meet the unique needs of each client, forming the basis for effective therapy.

• Develop comprehensive and individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices and are responsive to client goals.

• Facilitate client sessions that encourage self-exploration and insight into thoughts, feelings, and personal relationships, promoting emotional wellness.

• Monitor and evaluate client progress throughout the therapeutic process, adjusting treatment plans as needed to foster continued personal growth.

• Assist clients in developing healthy coping mechanisms to manage their mental health needs effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Emory, you will engage with stable, low acuity adults facing a range of mental health challenges. Your expertise will play a critical role in helping them navigate their difficulties and build a foundation for improved mental and emotional health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
\n
• You must possess one of the following independent licenses to practice: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
\n
• Applicants should have no limitations or disciplinary actions on their license.
\n
• Strong interpersonal skills combined with a genuine ability to empathize with clients is essential.
\n
• Proficient computer literacy and experience with telehealth platforms are required to effectively conduct sessions and manage patient information.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in outpatient settings or with teletherapy is preferred.
\n
• A background in working with diverse populations and knowledge of cultural competency in therapy are advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and hours worked. Additionally, the role comes with a sign-on bonus and a monthly healthcare stipend for full-time therapists, alongside regular weekly direct deposit for your convenience.
