Intern - Kite Research - Cell Biology

Kite Research internship focused on cell biology and CAR T-cell therapy development. Interns will conduct mammalian cell culture, perform lentiviral transduction, execute flow cytometry analysis, and contribute to high-impact cancer immunotherapy projects while gaining hands-on laboratory experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform tissue culture of mammalian cells using sterile technique
• Execute lentiviral transduction and cell staining for spectral flow cytometry analysis
• Operate flow cytometry instruments, perform QC procedures, and analyze data using FlowJo
• Maintain detailed documentation and communicate results orally and in written form
• Coordinate multiple project tasks and deliver final presentation of work

Requirements

• At least 18 years old at internship start
• Full-time enrollment in Bachelor's, Master's, MBA, JD, or PhD program at accredited U.S. institution
• Minimum 2.8 cumulative GPA
• Independent work authorization in the United States
• Ability to commit 10–12 consecutive weeks between May and August
• Willingness to work on-site at Foster City location (hybrid role, relocation may be required)

Compensation: $19.00–$55.00 hourly; benefits include paid holidays, sick time, and housing stipends for eligible employees
