Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms, resulting in comprehensive understanding and effective treatment development.

• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that align with their individual needs, goals, and preferences, ensuring a client-centered approach to care.

• Utilize evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to provide effective interventions that promote healing and resilience.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care strategies to enhance their understanding and promote active participation in their own recovery.

• Monitor client progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans and strategies as needed to respond to changes in symptoms and circumstances.

• Engage in collaborative care with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated support for clients’ overall well-being.

• Stay informed on the latest research and developments related to mood disorders, integrating new knowledge into practice to continually enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with adult and adolescent clients grappling with a range of challenges including anxiety disorders, depression, family conflict, and trauma-related issues. Your role is pivotal in guiding these clients through their treatment journeys, helping them develop coping strategies and fostering a safe space for emotional exploration.

Qualifications\n

• Current and active state licensing as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required, along with a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to establish a secure and trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.

• Empathy, compassion, and a nonjudgmental attitude in working with clients from diverse backgrounds and experiences.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in telehealth settings is advantageous, as well as familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) software.

Compensation and Benefits\n
