Senior Accounts Payable SpecialistLocation: Mendota Heights, MN (Hybrid schedule after training, only local candidates in Minnesota will be eligible for consideration)Compensation: $28 - $34.50 / hour dependent on applicable experienceBenefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).We are partnering with a growing organization in the Mendota Heights area to add an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to their accounting team. This is a hands-on, high-volume AP role ideal for someone who has strong full-cycle AP experience, is comfortable working in a PO environment, and has hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.ResponsibilitiesProcess high-volume supplier invoices using 3-way matching between purchase orders, invoices, and receiptsReview invoices for accuracy, proper coding, supporting documentation, and required approvalsResearch and resolve PO, receipt, pricing, and invoice discrepanciesMaintain accurate vendor records and accounting documentationReconcile vendor statements, invoices, and credit memos and resolve outstanding itemsSupport weekly check runs, EFT payments, manual checks, and payment reconciliationsPartner with internal departments and vendors to research and resolve AP inquiriesProcess AP-related reclassifications and maintain accurate accounting recordsSupport ongoing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central initiatives and system-related projectsAssist with additional AP, AR, and general accounting projects as neededQualifications3+ years of hands-on, full-cycle Accounts Payable experience; more experienced AP professionals preferredStrong experience with 3-way matching in a PO-based environmentHands-on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central experience requiredExperience with high-volume invoice processing, coding, and postingStrong vendor statement reconciliation and discrepancy-resolution experienceSolid Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables and VLOOKUPsAbility to quickly learn processes and independently manage day-to-day AP responsibilitiesComfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven accounting environmentAddison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
