Territory Manager-Detroit

Location: Detroit, MI | Schedule: Full-time, field-based (on-site within assigned territory) Overview An established industrial hardware distributor with a long operating history is seeking a Territory Manager to bring its mobile store directly to customers across a defined geographic territory. This sales role serves a wide range of industries, including transportation, aviation, facilities maintenance, aerospace, medical, military, marine, power generation, manufacturing, government, and heavy equipment sectors, delivering hardware and service straight to the customer's location. What you'll do Develop new sales prospects through research, referrals, and calls on businesses near existing customers Make face-to-face calls on cold and warm sales prospects Present products and services using sample boards, product demonstrations, and the mobile store Maintain the cleanliness, operation, marketing, and functionality of the mobile store Submit complete and accurate daily business reports detailing sales orders and prospect calls Maintain customer contact information, including notes, names, phone numbers, and addresses, using company software Required qualifications Must reside within the assigned territory; relocation is not available Must be able to purchase or lease an approved mobile store vehicle Must maintain a clean driving history Must have the physical ability to kneel and bend to the floor on a regular basis High school diploma or equivalent Strong tenured work background with no job hopping; a maximum of 3 companies over the past 10 years is ideal Excellent analytical, reasoning, and organizational skills Proficiency with databases, spreadsheets, email, and common business applications Demonstrated ability to work independently with a proven history of goal attainment Preferred qualifications Outside industrial sales experience, especially in route or industrial sales Why this role This is an opportunity to run your own mobile store business, serving a diverse mix of industrial customers through direct, face-to-face sales within your own territory. #J-18808-Ljbffr Software Placement Group
