Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct client assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based therapy tailored to each individual or family’s needs.

• Engage in therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), to assist clients in managing mental health challenges.

• Provide bilingual psychotherapy services in both Spanish and English, ensuring that therapy is accessible to a broader client base.

• Maintain up-to-date documentation through Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.

• Participate in staff meetings, case consultations, and training workshops to enhance skills and service delivery.

• Work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals to implement integrated treatment strategies that improve overall patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clientele at Relationship Behavioral Health Services encompasses individuals and families from various backgrounds and cultures, including underserved communities in Tallahassee. You will work predominantly with adults, adolescents, and children, offering therapy that is culturally competent and attuned to the unique needs of each client. Our focus extends to specific areas such as trauma, LGBTQ+ issues, grief and loss, and perinatal mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Studies, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Possession of an active and unrestricted LMFT license.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to provide therapy in both English and Spanish.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a behavioral health setting, dealing with children, adults, and families.

• Cultural competency and sensitivity to varied family customs and practices.
\n
• Proficiency in using EHR software, Microsoft Office, and general technology relevant to telehealth services.

Preferred Experience\n

• Training in specialized therapeutic techniques such as CBT, TF-CBT, or EMDR.

• Development of specialization areas, for example, trauma resilience, grief counseling, or support for LGBTQ+ individuals.

• Availability to work at least two evenings each week and one weekend day.
