Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial intakes and comprehensive assessments to identify client needs, develop treatment plans, and implement tailored interventions.

• Utilize the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM) of Mental Disorders to guide treatment strategies and ensure clinically appropriate decision-making.

• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions through telehealth platforms, employing best practices in counseling while remaining sensitive to the diverse backgrounds of clients.

• Engage in continuous evaluation and follow-up procedures to monitor treatment progress and make necessary adjustments to improve patient outcomes.

• Participate as an active member of an interdisciplinary Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT), collaborating with PCPs and other professionals to coordinate comprehensive care.

• Maintain electronic health records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations, ensuring accuracy and that all client interactions are tracked effectively.

The primary focus of this position will be on veterans and individuals seeking mental health support in a primary care setting. You will work with a broad spectrum of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, substance use issues, and more. Qualifications\n

• Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida.

• Demonstrated ability to fulfill internal credentialing requirements in clinical settings.

• A minimum of one year of experience working with psychiatric patients and/or substance abuse populations.

• Experience with assessment, diagnosis, and providing individual and group therapies.

• Proficient in using computer applications for clinical documentation and telehealth services.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 60,000 to 95,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
