Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract opportunity offers the chance to work closely with students across all grade levels in a school environment, supporting their growth and development. You’ll collaborate with passionate educators to provide essential PT services to a caseload of approximately 35 students, playing a key role in their academic and personal success.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Physical Therapy State License required
  • Experience in school-based physical therapy, preferably supporting diverse student populations
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage an itinerant caseload and travel between sites, as needed
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive learning environment

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct physical therapy services to students from various grade levels based on individual needs and IEPs
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and collaborate with other professionals to create student-centered therapy plans
  • Document therapy sessions, progress notes, and communicate effectively with school personnel, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide recommendations for classroom modifications, assistive devices, and other supports to enhance student participation
  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute expertise to the larger educational team

Position Details:

  • Contract dates: August 3, 2026 – June 4, 2027
  • Full-time schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (37.5 hours/week)
  • Onsite, itinerant role serving approximately 35 students
