Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Bring your expertise in physical therapy to a dynamic school-based setting, making a meaningful difference for students throughout the academic year. This onsite contract position offers the opportunity to support a diverse caseload of approximately 35 students across all grade levels, providing essential therapy services that foster growth, development, and greater independence.

As an itinerant Physical Therapist, you will collaborate with educators and families to design and deliver effective interventions within various school environments. Your ability to adapt your approach to meet the needs of students from different backgrounds and abilities will be instrumental in helping them achieve their goals.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current Physical Therapy (PT) license in the state
• Experience in school or pediatric therapy preferred
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Comfortable managing a varied caseload and working across grade levels
• Passion for facilitating student progress and working collaboratively with school staff and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy services
• Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and regulatory requirements
• Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to support students’ physical mobility and participation in educational activities
• Provide therapy across multiple school sites as needed (itinerant role)
• Participate in IEP meetings as a valued member of the educational team
