Work Environment\n

Our outpatient office offers a flexible work environment, primarily conducted remotely to ensure that our therapists can maintain work-life balance while providing essential services. We operate Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., allowing our therapists to engage in meaningful therapy sessions without the constraints of traditional office settings. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms.

• Collaborate with clients to craft personalized treatment plans that align with their unique goals, preferences, and challenges.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address specific needs effectively.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, available treatment options, and practical self-care strategies.

• Monitor and document client progress, consistently updating treatment plans to ensure optimal care and outcomes.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to provide integrated care.

• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to enhance therapeutic strategies.

• Maintain secure and confidential documentation to comply with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and opportunities for professional development on a regular basis.

• Advocate for clients’ needs within the mental health system while promoting awareness and reducing stigma associated with mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LMFT will primarily work with clients suffering from mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Your role will significantly impact individuals who often face additional barriers, such as homelessness, refugee status, or experiences of domestic abuse. By providing empathy, guidance, and expert treatment, you will empower these clients on their journey to recovery and well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

Compensation and Benefits\n

Our compensation package for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, determined by qualifications and experience.
