Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments, which include comprehensive psychosocial evaluations and diagnostic interviews to understand clients' unique needs.

• Collaborate with clients to design individualized treatment plans, taking into account cultural considerations and personal goals, ensuring client engagement in their own treatment process.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), tailored to individual, couple, family, and group settings.

• Provide crisis intervention services, effectively addressing acute distress situations while collaborating with other healthcare professionals to maintain consistent care.

• Accurately document clinical interactions, including progress notes and treatment plans, adhering to clinic policies and relevant healthcare regulations.
\n
• Educate clients and their family members on mental health topics, empowering them with knowledge and strategies to manage their conditions effectively.

• Engage in teamwork with a multidisciplinary staff—comprised of psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers—to ensure holistic care for every patient.

• Regularly assess treatment outcomes, adjusting strategies as necessary based on evidence of effectiveness to optimize patient progress.

• Commit to ongoing professional development by staying abreast of the latest mental health research, best practices, and emerging trends.

• Uphold ethical standards in all interactions and strictly maintain client confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse population of clients facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational issues. Your expertise in trauma-informed care will be invaluable in providing a supportive and empathetic environment for those navigating difficult experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current, valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW in the state of Florida is essential.

• Your ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team will be crucial.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

• The annual salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $84,000, depending on qualifications, experience, and geographic considerations.
