Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Elizabeth, NJ

Desired Experience and Skills:

• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
• Previous experience working in schools or with school-aged children
• Strong pediatric SLP background, with knowledge of both assessment and intervention strategies
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other support staff
• Comfortable delivering both individual and group therapy sessions
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough speech and language evaluations for students referred for services
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP requirements
• Deliver therapy that addresses communication disorders, including articulation, language, fluency, and voice
• Provide consultative services and training to teachers, staff, and parents as needed
• Collect and maintain data on student progress, preparing reports for team meetings and parent conferences
• Contribute to a collaborative, supportive school environment focused on student growth
• Adapt interventions as appropriate to meet diverse student needs
