Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as an LMFT, you will:

• Conduct therapy sessions with couples, facilitating joint sessions as well as individual meetings to address familial dynamics.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address issues such as alcohol abuse, grief and loss, conflicts among family members, and communication difficulties.
\n
• Develop personalized treatment plans that encompass the unique needs of each client and their families, regularly assessing progress and making adjustments as necessary.

• Maintain detailed and accurate records of client sessions, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards.
\n
• Collaborate with a team of mental health professionals, sharing insights and strategies to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on supporting couples and families undergoing challenges related to:

• Alcohol and substance abuse
\n
• Emotional trauma and psychological abuse
\n
• Grief, loss, and bereavement
\n
• Family conflicts, including sibling rivalries and mother/daughter issues

• Adjustment and coping strategies for separation and divorce

• Transitions associated with blended families and remarriage

Qualifications\n

The successful candidate will possess:

• A valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field
\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
