Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual therapy sessions in the homes of clients and facilitate group therapy sessions within our outpatient center to foster positive social interaction and support.

• Implement therapeutic techniques focused on enhancing coping skills, managing anger, and developing social skills to reduce high-risk behaviors, including self-injury and aggression.

• Guide caregivers in improving their decision-making capabilities and strategies to effectively manage behavioral challenges within the home environment.

• Collaborate daily with the Child Family Treatment Team and interprofessional colleagues to ensure a holistic approach to supporting the youth and their families.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and session notes, adhering to the required clinical guidelines.

• Participate in monthly team meetings to share insights, propose recommendations, and stay updated on best practices in therapeutic interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this position is on children aged 3 to 20 who are facing developmental and intellectual challenges. The therapist will work with a diverse population of clients, addressing a variety of needs—from emotional and behavioral issues to enhancing their everyday coping mechanisms. Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
