Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will take on a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Providing high-quality individual and family therapy that incorporates evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to understand client needs and developing tailored treatment plans based on these evaluations.
\n
• Facilitating group therapy sessions, addressing topics such as grief, trauma, and LGBTQ+ concerns, while creating an inclusive and safe space for discussion.

• Utilizing electronic health record (EHR) software for accurate documentation, while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.
\n
• Maintaining a presence on at least one insurance panel to support insurance-based therapy sessions.
\n
• Collaborating with a diverse team of mental health professionals to share insights and strategies for effective treatment.

• Maintaining a flexible schedule with availability to work evenings and weekends as needed, recognizing the varied schedules of our clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your therapy practice will focus on a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, and adults from various cultural backgrounds. The intention is to respect and meet each family’s unique needs by providing culturally sensitive therapies. You will be encouraged to specialize in areas such as trauma, grief and loss, or perinatal mental health, enriching our practice and contributing to the well-being of our community.

Qualifications\n

The ideal applicant will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree from an accredited program in Counseling, Marriage and Family Studies, or a related field.

• An active, unrestricted LMFT license.
\n
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is highly desirable, given our diverse client base.

• At least two years of supervised experience in a mental health setting.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to respect and adapt to the cultural and individual needs of clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Silver Head Psychiatry Clinic offers a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $105,000 annually, complemented by a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.
