Our mission‑built products—Ambient AI and Guardian—transform strategic, operational, and tactical decision making. Location Washington, D.C. – The position is based onsite at our D.C. office. Job Description As an Intelligence Intern you will work with Intelligence Analysts to support the production of impactful intelligence assessments on topics such as foreign military activities, weapons development, regional conflicts, and country stability. You will use Rhombus’ AI‑derived data together with open‑source information to help generate intelligence products. Interns support the team in data aggregation, research, analysis, report development, and related tasks. Responsibilities Support impactful intelligence production that answers our customers’ complex questions. Develop a thorough understanding of client intelligence needs and ensure analytic contributions meet those needs efficiently. Utilize Rhombus’ AI‑informed capabilities and perform targeted open‑source research to support team intelligence production. Discover and assess open‑source data streams that complement Rhombus’ raw data or aid in solution development. Support enhancement of Rhombus intelligence capabilities by providing feedback on existing features and assisting in new application development. Employ strong analytic tradecraft to produce evidence‑supported, properly cited, and clearly written intelligence products. Qualifications Pursuing a BA or BS in International Affairs, Political Science, Economics, or a similar social science. Experience performing academic research and analytic writing. Comfortable using and developing qualitative and quantitative analytical methodologies. Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills. Ability to work independently and proactively in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment. Data analysis skills, including geospatial analysis, Python, STATA, or R, are highly desired.
