Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed and comprehensive assessments to identify clients' mental health concerns, formulate clinical diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans that align with therapeutic goals.
• Provide tailored individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or other relevant therapeutic techniques.
• Offer immediate crisis intervention and support for clients experiencing acute mental health challenges or emergencies, ensuring a safe therapeutic space.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and assessment results, in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Collaborate proactively with interdisciplinary teams, which may include psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
• Educate clients and families about mental health issues, treatment options, and community resources. Advocate for clients’ rights and needs with compassion and professionalism.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, staying current with best practices in mental health therapy through training, workshops, and networking opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse population that reflects the unique mental health needs within Spokane, encompassing a wide range of issues from anxiety and depression to trauma and relationship concerns. Your role will involve not just treatment but also empowerment, as you support clients in navigating their mental health journeys.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, LICSW) in the state of Washington.
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is required to support your therapeutic practice.
• Proficient clinical assessment and diagnostic skills with a minimum of two years of related experience.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that foster trust and rapport with diverse clientele.
• Ability to work independently while also effectively collaborating within a team setting.
• Strong commitment to upholding the highest ethical and professional standards in all client interactions.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a clinical telehealth setting is preferred but not required for entry-level candidates.
• Experience working with a diverse client population and addressing a broad range of mental health issues.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 85,000 – 100,000 per year, complemented by a sign-on bonus.
