Compass Therapeutic Behavioral and Counseling Center is actively seeking a Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, LICSW) to join our dynamic and compassionate team. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that take into account any underlying medical conditions that may impact psychological well-being.
• Develop personalized, integrated treatment plans addressing both behavioral and medical health needs, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.
• Facilitate engaging and supportive individual and group therapy sessions that utilize evidence-based practices tailored to each patient's specific circumstances.
• Collaborate effectively with medical professionals to coordinate care and optimize treatment outcomes for patients with co-occurring disorders through regular case management.
• Provide timely crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, employing established protocols to ensure patient safety and security.
• Educate patients on the interplay between mental and physical health, empowering them to actively manage and understand their conditions.
• Maintain thorough, accurate, and confidential documentation of all patient interactions in accordance with ethical standards and legal requirements.
• Actively participate in team meetings, including case conferences and interdisciplinary planning sessions, to ensure collaborative care across disciplines.
• Stay informed about the latest research, best practices, and advancements in integrated mental health care to continuously improve patient services.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily serves individuals facing mental health challenges compounded by co-occurring medical conditions such as autoimmune disorders, substance use disorders, and chronic pain. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient community, including adults seeking help for anxiety, depression, trauma-related issues, and behavioral difficulties. Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Psychologist in Washington State.
• Proven experience in addressing mental health needs for individuals with complex, co-occurring medical conditions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with patients remotely.
• Strong ethical standards, with a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and professional boundaries.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications necessary for virtual practice.
• A collaborative spirit and readiness to work as part of a multidisciplinary care team.

Preferred Experience

While prior experience working in a remote healthcare setting is preferred, it is not mandatory. The successful candidate will possess the initiative to learn and adapt to digital platforms that facilitate engaging therapy sessions. Experience with trauma-informed care, evidence-based therapies (such as CBT or DBT), and effective crisis management will be highly regarded.
