Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs, using evidence-based methodologies to gather relevant information.
• Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique circumstances, goals, and preferences.
• Provide therapeutic services including individual, group, and family counseling, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational conflicts.
• Utilize telehealth platforms effectively to engage clients in meaningful therapy sessions, leveraging technology for optimal client interaction and support.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive care and ensure the best outcomes for clients.
• Stay informed on the latest research and best practices in mental health counseling, and integrate new knowledge into therapeutic practices.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.

• Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively connect with clients and collaborate with team members.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while contributing to team-based initiatives.
• Familiarity with evidence-based counseling techniques and therapeutic modalities.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards of professional conduct.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in using telehealth platforms for counseling is highly desirable. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems will be an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits

Big Cedar Counseling Services offers a competitive salary range of USD 60,000 to 100,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
