Work Environment

This role will be carried out within a remote work setting, allowing you to connect with clients through teletherapy while effectively managing your schedule. Although work is performed remotely, you will collaborate closely with a passionate multidisciplinary team in an outpatient office environment. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for clients and develop personalized treatment plans by utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to each individual's needs.
• Participate actively in crisis plan development by creating pre-crisis and crisis plans, behavioral guidelines, medication treatment plans, and risk assessments.
• Ensure timely completion of all necessary documentation, maintaining compliance with both regulatory standards and internal protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement positive behavior support plans that respond effectively to client needs.
• Take an active role in all licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring our practices meet the highest professional and ethical standards.
• Serve as a liaison for relevant stakeholders, including service systems, state agencies, and community partners, fostering strong therapeutic alliances.
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients, families, and other staff members to ensure a holistic approach to wellness and recovery.
• Engage in continuous professional development activities, attending conferences, workshops, and representing Mind Care Counseling Center at statewide meetings and committees.
• Promote the agency's mission, values, philosophy, and principles within client interactions and collaborations.
• Perform additional duties as directed by the Clinic Director to support organizational goals and client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role centers around a diverse patient population, including individuals facing challenges related to emotional health, substance use, developmental disabilities, and those impacted by acquired brain injuries. You will have the opportunity to work with clients of varying ages and backgrounds, fostering relationships that encourage open communication and tailored therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in a mental health field is required to ensure a thorough understanding of psychological principles and therapeutic techniques.
• An active, independent LMHC license is necessary for practice, and for counselors licensed in other states, we offer coverage for licensing fees in Washington.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a counseling role with an emphasis on outpatient services is preferred, demonstrating a solid ability to engage with clients in various therapeutic settings.
• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities and experience in crisis intervention will enhance the effectiveness of service delivery.
• Experience working with community resources and state agencies is valued, as it supports holistic approaches to client care.

Compensation and Benefits
