Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments and intake interviews to identify clients' mental health needs.
• Design, implement, and adapt evidence-based treatment plans to meet individual client goals and therapeutic needs.
• Provide individual, couples, and group counseling sessions, employing suitable therapeutic interventions such as CBT, DBT, and mindfulness techniques.
• Engage in active collaboration with interdisciplinary treatment teams to ensure comprehensive care and continuity of services.
• Maintain meticulous, confidential records of client interactions and treatment protocols in accordance with legal and ethical requirements.
• Participate in regular clinical supervision, case conferences, and professional development to enhance therapeutic competencies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele ranges from adolescents to adults facing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, mood disorders, PTSD, and substance use disorders. Qualifications

• A valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) within the state of Washington is required.
• A Bachelor's degree in a related field; a Master's degree in clinical mental health counseling or a comparable area is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience providing both individual and group therapy within mental health settings.
• Strong understanding and application of evidence-based therapeutic techniques suitable for diverse mental health conditions.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective interaction with clients and colleagues.
• A commitment to upholding ethical standards and ensuring client confidentiality.

Preferred Experience

• Previous telehealth experience is a plus, especially familiarity with relevant technology and client engagement strategies.
• Experience with specific therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or trauma-informed care.
• Understanding of the demographic and cultural factors affecting mental health in the Spokane community.

Compensation and Benefits
