Work Environment

Our work environment is designed to support flexibility and adaptability, allowing team members to provide effective care in a remote setting while maintaining the option for occasional in-person collaboration at our outpatient office. With a standard work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 4 PM, we accommodate shifts to meet patient needs. This role is enhanced by our supportive infrastructure that minimizes administrative burdens, allowing you to focus on therapeutic interventions and client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and ongoing clinical evaluations to assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
• Implement therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to address the specific issues raised by clients.
• Document all therapeutic sessions and maintain confidential clinical records while adhering to HIPAA regulations and other compliance standards.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Participate actively in regular case consultations and peer review meetings aimed at enhancing treatment methodologies and improving patient outcomes.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, create awareness around treatment options, and connect them to community resources to support their recovery journey.
• Engage in continuous professional development by staying updated with current research and advancements in the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with a diverse clientele who may be struggling with a variety of mental health challenges. This includes individuals experiencing severe anxiety, depression, and trauma-related disorders. The range of clients and their unique stories will enrich your practice, allowing you to apply your skills creatively while making a significant impact on their mental health journeys.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Mandatory active licensure as a LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.
• Demonstrate proficiency in solution-focused therapy techniques tailored to meet the diverse needs of individuals.
• Possess strong verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information clearly and compassionately to clients and their families.
• Exhibit excellent problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills to navigate complex clinical scenarios.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient mental health settings, particularly in substance abuse and addiction counseling.
• Familiarity with various treatment modalities and tools associated with evidence-based practice.
