Work Environment

This position offers the flexibility of remote work while being part of an outpatient office setting. Although the role is primarily remote, you may occasionally work from our Spokane office to participate in team meetings or training sessions, enhancing the camaraderie within our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to determine the mental health needs of clients, utilizing evidence-based diagnostic tools.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to client-specific goals, ensuring they align with best practices in mental health care.
• Provide a range of therapeutic interventions including individual, couples, and group counseling, employing techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based strategies.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary treatment teams, participating in case conferences to promote client care and ensure comprehensive support.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, adhering strictly to legal and ethical guidelines, to protect client privacy and comply with regulations.
• Engage in regular supervision meetings, continuing education, and professional development to enhance skills and stay updated with the latest advancements in the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client base includes individuals from diverse backgrounds with a wide array of mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, PTSD, and addiction issues. You will play a pivotal role in providing support and guidance, helping clients navigate their emotional and psychological struggles to improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Washington.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with preference given to candidates holding a Master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical setting, providing therapy to individuals and/or groups.
• In-depth knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic methodologies relevant to mental health treatment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, showcasing the abilities to build rapport and effectively communicate with clients of diverse backgrounds.
• A steadfast commitment to ethical practice and confidentiality standards in client interactions.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a remote work setting, demonstrating reliability and self-discipline in managing schedules and client communication.
• Familiarity with specific therapeutic frameworks such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
• Proven competency in managing cases involving trauma and addiction recovery.
