Project Analyst, Cost, Transmission (Hybrid Schedule)

Position Overview Eversource will not offer immigration‑related sponsorship for this position. Applicants requiring visa sponsorship will not be considered. The role supports a hybrid work schedule; employees are expected to work at least three days in the office (Tuesdays and Wednesdays, plus a third day chosen by the employee and supervisor) and may need to work up to five days in the office for emergencies, training, or business needs. Responsibilities Monitors, maintains and reports on budgets, contracts and other financial issues for Eversource transmission projects. Provides cost forecasting, monitoring and control activities, including the preparation of cost performance and productivity reports, analysis of supporting data, variance reporting, and special studies. Evaluates and reports the cost impact of scope changes and/or productivity changes and recommends corrective actions. Essential functions include assisting Project Managers with the evaluation and refinement of project cost, cash flow and budgets throughout the project life cycle; assessing status, variances, trends and completions; utilizing information such as bids, scope changes, invoices, labor/contractor, material and equipment to perform monthly forecasting; and presenting detailed project and program management cost analysis reports to Project Managers, Engineering and Plant Accounting. Reconciles project cost to establish accurate historical data for future use and handles the preparation of un‑vouchered liabilities to ensure proper financial impact reporting. Qualifications Technical Knowledge/Skill Strong analytical skills for evaluating estimates, budgets, cash flows, plans and schedules to effectively control cost. Sound knowledge of cost and schedule specification requirements and contract administration techniques, including types of contracts and applicability. Efficient communication and coordination with Eversource management, project and support personnel. Ability to prepare clear and concise reports using written, oral or graphical means. Education Baccalaureate degree in business, accounting, engineering or a related area, or equivalent experience is required. A degree in finance is strongly preferred. Experience Minimum of three (3) years of cost experience is required. Working Conditions Must be available for emergency restoration assignments as required and for travel between MA, CT and NH. Compensation & Benefits Compensation and benefits include a competitive total rewards program. Salary is commensurate with your experience and may include an incentive. The annual salary range for this position is $95,050.00–$105,610.00. The position is eligible for a potential incentive and is a regular worker type with one opening.
