Manage and review complex construction-related tax engagements while providing consulting, client service, and staff development. Hiring now for a full-time management role. The Tax Manager (Construction) will oversee complex tax compliance and consulting engagements for construction clients, mentor staff, and contribute to the growth of the firm's specialized tax practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review complex federal and state tax returns.
• Delegate and supervise tax preparation and research assignments.
• Prepare complex business income tax returns.
• Deliver tax consulting, projections, and planning services.
• Manage client relationships and service responsibilities.
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting; Master's in taxation preferred.
• Active CPA license required.
• Construction industry tax experience required.
• 47 years of progressive public accounting experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Strong Excel skills; experience with tax workflow software a plus.
• Excellent communication abilities and a self-directed, ambitious mindset.
