Executive Director, Product Development Team Leader, Clinical Research, Hematology - Lymphoma

Merck

Executive Director leading late-stage clinical development for hematology-lymphoma oncology programs. Manages cross-functional teams overseeing Phase 2–5 trials, regulatory strategy, and clinical execution while maintaining scientific expertise and fostering high-performance culture.

Responsibilities

Direct planning and execution of Phase 2-5 clinical development programs in hematology-lymphoma
Lead and mentor cross-functional product development teams managing strategy and execution
Develop clinical development strategies incorporating regulatory requirements and competitive landscape
Design and oversee conduct of clinical trials, including protocol development and monitoring
Analyze clinical findings and prepare regulatory submissions, study reports, and publications

Requirements

M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree
Minimum 3 years clinical medicine experience
Minimum 5 years pharmaceutical industry drug development experience
Experience authoring regulatory documents and engaging regulatory agencies
Demonstrated scientific scholarship and biomedical research background
Board certification or eligibility in Oncology, Hematology, or related discipline (preferred)
Prior lymphoma clinical research and publication record (preferred)
