Key Responsibilities\n

Your primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions, enabling patients to explore their trauma experiences, develop coping skills, and promote healing.

• Collaborating effectively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to facilitate integrated care and comprehensive support for patients.

• Providing crisis intervention when required, ensuring patients receive immediate support during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educating patients and family members about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources to aid recovery.

• Maintaining accurate, confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In your role, you will primarily serve individuals who have experienced trauma, including those who have been diagnosed with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our clientele may include children, adolescents, and adults from diverse backgrounds, each presenting unique challenges and therapeutic needs. The focus on trauma-informed care allows for tailored approaches that respect each patient's personal journey and healing process.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, reflecting a depth of knowledge in mental health practices.

• Strong expertise in trauma-related disorders and resilience-building strategies, with demonstrated experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, adopting a compassionate, non-judgmental stance toward all clients.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
