The Business Development Executive plays a critical role in driving growth for Sparx Logistics USA. Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, this role is responsible for generating new business opportunities, strengthening existing customer relationships, and maximizing profitability across the U.S. market.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive sales professional with strong negotiation skills, deep industry knowledge, and the ability to adapt to evolving client and market needs. This position will actively contribute to the design and execution of sales strategies that align with Sparx’s overall growth objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities with both new and existing customers.
• Design and execute sales  strategies in collaboration with the sales team and cross-functional departments.
• Negotiate service agreements, rates, and terms to support profitability and revenue goals.
• Manage and expand a      portfolio of clients, promoting customer satisfaction, loyalty, and long-term growth.
• Conduct market research      and analyze customer data to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive insights.
• Work closely with Procurement, Sales Support, Operations, and Customer Service to ensure seamless execution of client solutions.
• Use company CRM to  prepare and deliver regular reports on sales activities, pipeline, and results.

Experience & Knowledge

• Minimum of 3–5 years of      business development or sales experience in logistics, freight forwarding,      or supply chain.
• Demonstrated success in      customer acquisition, relationship management, and contract negotiation.
• Knowledge of      international trade, logistics operations, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical      abilities with experience managing sales data and performance metrics.
