Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to identify clients' needs and develop a tailored treatment plan that reflects their specific circumstances and goals.

• Provide high-quality individual, couple, and family therapy sessions, employing evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and other modalities as appropriate.

• Collaborate seamlessly with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychologists, licensed clinical social workers, and psychiatrists, to ensure a holistic approach to client care.

• Document progress notes, treatment plans, and other necessary client information accurately and promptly, adhering to organizational policies and HIPAA regulations to maintain confidentiality.

• Engage in regular clinical supervision, participate in ongoing training sessions, and take advantage of professional development opportunities to refine your skills and advance your career.

• Stay abreast of the latest research, best practices, and emerging trends in the field of marriage and family therapy, integrating this knowledge into your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will have the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients, including adults, children, and families from various cultural backgrounds. You will address various issues such as relationship difficulties, communication barriers, family dynamics, and mental health concerns.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Active and valid license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) within the state of New York.

• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, with a focus on family and marriage therapy.

• Proficient in utilizing the DSM-5 for diagnosis and treatment planning.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
