Business Office Clerical Assistant (Part-time, OPS) Location : Tallahassee, FL Job ID : 61550 Regular/Temporary : Temporary Full/Part Time : Part-Time Department Pepper Institute on Aging and Public Policy - Safe Mobility for Life Coalition, Florida Department of Transportation Responsibilities Administrative Duties Provide the Program Coordinator with administrative support to ensure effective operations (e.g., filing, emailing, data entry, and retrieval). Maintain and update program calendars, shared spreadsheets, databases, and tracking logs. Assist with day-to-day program logistics and documentation needs. Resource Center Duties Answer and triage phone calls to the Safe Mobility for Life Resource Center toll-free line and direct callers to appropriate resources. Respond to and/or forward resource center emails. Process, prepare, and mail resource center material requests. Maintain and restock inventory of all materials and supplies. Provide support at local outreach events, as needed. Qualifications Associate’s degree and one year of experience or high school diploma/equivalent and five years related to the duties of this position. Experience communicating professionally verbally and in writing. Experience documenting existing and new processes. Experience in gathering, interpreting, reporting, and/or editing information. Experience meeting project deadlines. Experience organizing, prioritizing, and performing multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and online project management applications. Ability to lift at least 30 pounds. Knowledge of standard office procedures. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in public health, communications, or social sciences. Ability to assist Spanish-speaking callers. Knowledge of and ability to interpret and apply relevant University policies, procedures, principles, and practices.
