Billing Specialist

Billing SpecialistLHH is assisting a client with their need for a direct hire billing specialist. This is a great opportunity to join a growing team. This is a hybrid opportunity in Charlotte, NC.ResponsibilitiesPrepare, review, and send accurate invoices in accordance with company procedures and billing schedules.Verify billing information, including customer details, pricing, purchase orders, contract terms, and supporting documentation.Maintain accurate customer account records and update billing information as needed.Process payments, credits, and adjustments in the accounting or billing system.Reconcile customer accounts and research discrepancies related to invoices, payments, or outstanding balances.Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue invoices as needed.Respond to customer billing inquiries in a timely and professional manner.Partner with sales, operations, customer service, and accounting teams to resolve billing issues.Assist with month-end close activities, reporting, and documentation.Maintain organized billing records for audit and compliance purposes.Identify opportunities to improve billing accuracy, efficiency, and overall processes.RequirementsPrevious experience in billing, accounts receivable, accounting support, or administrative finance preferred.Utilities industry experience is beneficialPositive attitudeStrong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systems.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Excellent problem-solving and follow-up skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year Search managed by: Emma Claris Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled Military connected talent encouraged to apply LHH
