Kitchen Manager
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee our high-volume kitchen operations. This role is vital in ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality food service, supporting our commitment to excellent customer experiences. The ideal candidate will excel in leadership, operational management, and maintaining high standards in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflow
- Manage and coordinate kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards
- Oversee inventory management, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
- Implement and monitor kitchen procedures to optimize productivity and minimize waste
- Collaborate with other departments to meet service goals and customer satisfaction
- Address and resolve any operational issues promptly and effectively
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing a high-volume kitchen or restaurant environment
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Culinary background or relevant certifications preferred
