Start Date: ASAP | Available Shifts: Day 12 | Pay Rate: $82.45 - $89.25

This facility is in search of a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant specializing in Urgent Care to provide locum tenens support while they work to fill an immediate vacancy.

Opportunity Details and Requirements:

• Schedule: 3 days per week, starting as soon as credentialed until a permanent hire is made; hours are from 8 AM to 8 PM.
• Patient Volume: The patient demographic ranges from newborns to seniors, with daily variations depending on the clinic.
• Practice Environment: Outpatient setting.
• Scope of Practice:
  • Laceration Repair: Simple, intermediate, and complex suturing or stapling.
  • Incision and Drainage (I&D): Including packing.
  • Foreign Body Removal.
  • Minor Burn Management.
  • Skin Lesion Care.
  • Orthopedic & Injury Stabilization: Splinting and casting, joint reduction.
  • Diagnostic & Point-of-Care Testing.
  • X-Ray Interpretation.
  • Electrocardiogram (EKG) analysis.
• Licensure: A valid Virginia license is required.
• Credentialing Period: Approximately 60-90 days.
