Job Title: Patent Legal Admin

Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Patent Legal Admin to join our client to support the accurate and timely management of intellectual property portfolios. This role plays a critical part in keeping trademark and patent matters on track by ensuring deadlines, records, and communications are handled with precision. The ideal candidate brings strong docketing experience, thrives in a detail driven environment, and partners closely with attorneys and legal staff. This is a permanent opportunity with a required hybrid schedule based in one of several major US offices.

Compensation:
$60,000 to $152,000 per year

Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM local time, with overtime as needed

Key Responsibilities of the Patent Legal Admin:

• Oversee daily trademark docketing activities, including monitoring global correspondence and updating internal tracking systems
• Capture and maintain critical filing data to ensure records remain accurate, complete, and audit ready
• Communicate upcoming deadlines and status updates to attorneys, paralegals, and legal teams to support on time submissions
• Prepare reports, assist with onboarding new intellectual property portfolios, and support ongoing portfolio maintenance
• Act as a key operational partner to senior team members by streamlining processes and supporting workflow efficiency

Qualifications and Skills for the Patent Legal Admin:

• Two to three years of trademark docketing experience for mid level consideration or five or more years for senior level roles
• Prior exposure to patent docketing or intellectual property portfolio management is strongly preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with proven attention to detail and proofreading accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while meeting strict deadlines in a fast paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal or CRM systems, paired with a collaborative and service minded approach
