DS Containers is seeking a highly organized, customer-focused Inside Sales Account Manager to join our Sales team in Batavia, Illinois. This position plays a critical role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service from order entry through shipment while working closely with Sales, Production, Scheduling, Shipping, Quality, and Accounting.

What You'll Do

• Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned customer accounts.
• Process customer orders accurately through our ERP system.
• Manage customer orders from entry through shipment.
• Coordinate with Production, Scheduling and Shipping to ensure on-time delivery.
• Monitor finished goods inventory and customer stock programs.
• Maintain customer pricing, reports and account records.
• Process graphics/artwork requests and engraving orders.
• Enter and manage customer quality concerns.
• Resolve inventory, payment and order discrepancies.
• Assist Outside Sales with forecasts, budgets and customer support.
• Build strong working relationships across multiple departments.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer service and internal processes.

Requirements

  Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred.
• 2–5+ years of Inside Sales, Customer Service, Account Management or Sales Support experience.
• Manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
• ERP/MRP experience (JD Edwards experience is a plus).
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail and strong follow-through.
• Professional, positive and team-oriented attitude.

Salary Description

$70,000-$90,000 Annually
