Work Environment

As an onsite physical therapist, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive treatment plans for clients. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate patients' physical capabilities, including strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans focused on preventing disability, relieving pain, and restoring function in alignment with each client's goals.
• Administer a range of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and the use of physical agents such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
• Guide and supervise Physical Therapy Assistants in delivering care according to the prescribed treatment plans, ensuring consistency and quality in therapy.
• Monitor patient progress by documenting treatment outcomes and modifying plans as necessary to meet changing needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to contribute to case conferences, enhancing overall client care through effective communication and shared strategies.
• Educate patients and their families on proper exercise techniques, lifestyle modifications, and home exercise programs to support ongoing recovery.
• Stay updated on industry advancements and best practices to ensure the highest standard of care is provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work primarily with individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injury rehabilitation, and musculoskeletal disorders. You will engage with a diverse patient population that includes young athletes, active adults, and older adults, all seeking to regain strength, improve mobility, and enhance their overall quality of life post-injury.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid physical therapy license in the state of Florida.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy, demonstrating a solid understanding of assessment, diagnosis, and treatment interventions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams.
• Dedication to continuous learning and professional development through training and education.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with specialized orthopedic populations and non-invasive rehabilitation methods.
• Familiarity with technology used in therapy practice, such as electronic medical records (EMR) and rehabilitation equipment.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
