Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify each patient's goals and needs, tailoring treatment plans accordingly.
• Manage a caseload of 2-3 patients per hour, providing personalized attention to maximize rehabilitation outcomes.
• Utilize your orthopedic outpatient experience to implement effective therapeutic interventions that enhance patient mobility.
• Develop and execute individualized care plans based on evidence-based practices and a variety of treatment techniques.
• Incorporate functional fitness and wellness programs that align with patients' needs to promote overall health and recovery.
• Actively motivate and encourage patients throughout their treatment journey, ensuring they achieve optimal function and independence.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care and address diverse patient needs.
• Document patient progress meticulously, evaluating treatment effects and adjusting care plans based on results.
• Promote lifestyle changes that enhance strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination among clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and conditions that affect mobility and functional capabilities. Our diverse patient population may include athletes, post-surgical rehabilitation patients, and elderly individuals seeking to maintain independence through improved physical function.

Qualifications

• Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
• Current and valid Florida Physical Therapist License, with no disciplinary actions or board actions.
• National Provider Identifier (NPI) number or the willingness to obtain one prior to commencing employment.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription.
• A strong ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software, specifically WebPT, is highly desirable.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is preferable.
• Experience in developing fitness- and wellness-oriented programs tailored to individual patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and expertise.
