Work Environment

Our physical therapist will work onsite in a modern rehabilitation center equipped with the latest therapeutic technologies. You will enjoy a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to understand their specific needs and formulate comprehensive treatment plans that incorporate various therapeutic techniques.
• Implement individualized therapy sessions, maintaining a patient load of one patient per hour, ensuring focused and dedicated care.
• Utilize cost-effective therapies designed to enhance patients' range of motion and mobility while minimizing reliance on medications.
• Propose non-surgical alternatives to improve patient outcomes, promoting a proactive approach to rehabilitation.
• Develop personalized fitness and wellness programs tailored to each patient, considering their unique capabilities and goals.
• Provide encouragement and motivation to patients throughout their treatment journey, fostering a positive mindset and a sense of ownership over their rehabilitation progress.
• Continuously monitor treatment outcomes, document services provided, and communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare practitioners.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to optimize patient care and share insights on effective treatment methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Active Life, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population that includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and mobility limitations. We pride ourselves on our holistic approach, ensuring each treatment plan is comprehensive and tailored to meet the specific needs of every client.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, with preference for those holding a Master's (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) degree.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, free of any board or disciplinary actions.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the aptitude to design and implement effective exercise programs.
• Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, with familiarity in platforms such as WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings.
• Experience working with diverse populations and a variety of orthopedic conditions.
• Advanced understanding of evidence-based practices and a commitment to continued professional development.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $75,000 to $95,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
