Work Environment

This onsite position allows you to provide direct care to patients in a home care setting, where you will make a direct impact on their recovery journey. The typical work schedule for this role is Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a structured yet dynamic work environment. You will work closely with a collaborative team of medical professionals who share a commitment to excellence in orthopedic care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical abilities and limitations to craft personalized treatment plans that target individual rehabilitation goals.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to alleviate pain and improve function.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to optimize recovery outcomes while documenting all findings in our electronic medical records system.
• Educate patients and their families about self-management techniques, exercise programs, and lifestyle modifications that support sustained health and wellness.
• Engage in collaborative discussions with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive patient care and to identify additional support services as needed.
• Promote health education and preventive measures that help patients maintain independence and enhance overall quality of life.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at our facility, you will work with a diverse population of patients experiencing a range of musculoskeletal conditions such as arthritis, sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain syndromes. Your expertise in orthopedic care will empower these individuals to achieve optimal outcomes through tailored rehabilitation strategies.

Qualifications

• Possess a Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Hold an active state license as a Physical Therapist, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
• Minimum of three years of experience in physical therapy, with a demonstrated track record in orthopedic care.
• Strong understanding of various orthopedic conditions and the latest treatment modalities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building relationships with patients and team members.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems to enhance patient care and documentation processes.
• Additional certifications in specialized physical therapy techniques (e.g., Manual Therapy, Dry Needling) are a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
